The Village of Senneville wishes to inform residents that the next Census of Population will begin on May 4, 2026.
Conducted by Statistics Canada, this nationwide initiative aims to collect essential data used to plan a wide range of public programs and services. The information gathered helps guide decisions related to education, health care, transportation, and the labour market.
These data play a fundamental role in informed decision-making across all levels of government and help ensure that resources are allocated effectively based on the actual needs of the population.
How to participate?
Starting in May, households will receive a census invitation letter by mail containing:
- a secure access code;
- instructions on how to complete the questionnaire online.
Participation in the Census is important and secure. All information collected is protected under the Statistics Act and remains strictly confidential.
