The Village of Senneville informs its residents that a watering ban has been in effect on August 11, 2025, and will remain in place until further notice, for all individuals served by the Pierrefonds drinking water treatment plant, of which Senneville is a part.
This measure is necessary due to a drop in the water level of the Rivière des Prairies, which affects the quality of the raw water and places significant pressure on the plant’s treatment process. The quality of the drinking water supplied, however, continues to meet high standards of excellence, and tap water remains completely safe for consumption.
