Fall Bulky Items Collection Coming Soon

The Municipality would like to remind residents that the next bulky items collection will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026.

This collection is intended for large items that cannot be placed in regular curbside collection bins. Accepted items include furniture and other objects made of wood, metal, or plastic, such as tables, chairs, desks, armchairs, cabinets, hot water tanks, and large household appliances.

However, several materials are not accepted, including major construction debris, hazardous waste, tires, electronic devices, televisions, as well as refrigerators and freezers that still contain halocarbons.

Think Reuse Before You Dispose

If your furniture or household items are still in good condition, we encourage you to consider reuse. Many community organizations accept donations and can give these items a second life by making them available to people in need.

Many materials not accepted during the bulky waste collection can be taken to an ecocentre:

By choosing reuse and recycling whenever possible, we can collectively reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill and help protect our environment.
