Collective Taxi Service Changes During Peak Hours Effective August 3
As of August 3, 2026, the collective taxi service will no longer be available during peak hours between the Anse-à-l’Orme REM station and the Charles River Laboratories and Tenaquip facilities.
This change is intended to optimize the use of public transit services. Since the introduction of Bus Route 222, it has been observed that most peak-hour trips continued to be made using the collective taxi service, despite the availability of a bus route specifically designed to meet this travel demand.
As a result, during peak periods, transportation between these locations will be provided exclusively by Bus Route 222.
Route 222 was introduced to facilitate employee commuting by offering a direct connection between the Anse-à-l’Orme REM station and the businesses it serves. Schedules have been adapted to work shifts and may be adjusted as needed based on ridership levels.
