Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

End of mobile collection of HHW

Please note that the City of Montréal is changing the summer opening hours of its ecocentres and discontinuing the mobile collection service for household hazardous waste (HHW). Summer hours are Tuesday to Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Have you done some cleaning and now have HHW to dispose of?

Remember to bring your nail polish, propane tanks, car batteries, houselhold batteries, certain cleaning products, solvents, pool chlorine, etc. to an ecocentre so they can be disposed of responsibly!

Household hazardous waste (HHW) must never be thrown into nature, placed in household garbage, poured down the drain or put in the recycling bin with recyclable materials. They are polluting and dangerous.
