The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) will carry out a redesign of its bus network starting May 18 to prepare for the opening of the Anse‑à‑l’Orme REM branch. These adjustments are intended to make travel easier and to improve connections to this new high‑capacity transit system.
Changes in Senneville
Several significant improvements are planned within the Town of Senneville:
- Addition of a collective taxi stop providing an efficient connection to the Anse‑à‑l’Orme REM station. This service will offer residents a flexible option at the same fare as the bus and the REM.
- Launch of a new bus route (222 – Senneville). This route will serve:
- businesses located along the Trans‑Canada Highway;
- the industrial sector; and
- a direct connection to the REM, mainly during morning and evening rush hours.
These changes are part of a broader objective to improve accessibility, mobility, and the smooth flow of travel between Senneville, employment areas, and the metropolitan public transit network.
