A freezing rain event is expected in the region starting tonight and is likely to continue throughout Wednesday, extending into Thursday. With temperatures hovering around the freezing point — a high of 0 °C and a low of –1 °C — the actual thickness of ice accumulation remains uncertain.
In Senneville, the Public Works team is ready to respond as needed on the roads and for clearing branches. In addition, the amount of de-icing salt has been adjusted accordingly.
