Boil Water Advisory Lifted – Area between Phillips Avenue and L’Anse-à-l’Orme Road

Following the distribution of a written notice to the residents concerned, the Village is now providing an update through this article.

Current Situation

On January 12, 2026, work was carried out to repair a leak on the main water supply line serving the area along Chemin de Senneville, between Phillips Avenue and L’Anse-à-l’Orme Road. As a result of these works, Gouin Blvd. West remains closed until further notice, while remaining open to local traffic only.

Boil Water Advisory Lifted

The Village has received the results of water tests conducted by the City of Montreal. These confirm that the water is safe to drink. Before consuming a large glass of water, a few additional precautions are recommended:

  • Turn on all cold water taps and let the water run for a few minutes before use to allow complete flushing of the pipes. This procedure also applies to outdoor taps, garden hoses, and drinking fountains.
  • Empty, clean, and disinfect coffee machines and ice machines.

Status of Gouin Blvd. West
