This by-law replaces the former By-law No. 394.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the key points:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Leash required<\/strong>: Dogs must be <strong>kept on a leash at all times<\/strong> in public areas, unless in designated zones.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Potentially dangerous dogs<\/strong>: A dog may be declared potentially dangerous by the municipality if, after reviewing the report of the veterinarian who examined the animal and assessed its condition and level of danger, it is determined that the dog poses a risk to public health or safety.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Identification<\/strong>: All dogs must be <strong>registered<\/strong> with the municipality and wear a valid tag.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fines<\/strong>: Fines ranging from <strong>$250 to $10,000<\/strong> may be issued for non-compliance with the by-law.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can read the full by-law here: <a
