Payment terms for tax accounts<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Several payment methods are available for paying your tax bill; however, it is important to allow a transmission time to meet the due date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electronic payment from your financial institution<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

  • Choose the supplier \u201cVillage de Senneville\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Enter the 10-digit file number that appears on your tax account stubs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • Write the file number of the tax account(s) to be paid on the back of the cheque.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • It is recommended that you send, in the same envelope, post-dated cheques for additional payments with the corresponding payment stubs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • The payment of your tax bill is recorded on the day it is received by the municipality, and not on the day of the postmark.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            3. File number:
              Unique number associated with your property<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            4. Assessed value:
              Value on which property taxes are calculated<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            5. Rate: Property tax rates and pricing by building:
              this rate varies from year to year <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            6. Total: Total amount of taxes for the taxation year shown on the statement<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            7. Due dates: Due dates for the two (2) required payments<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            8. After due date: Value of interest charges as of the date of the first payment on the balance due, if not paid by the due date<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            9. Arrears: Balance of transactions prior to the printing date of the current tax account<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            10. Total payable: Amount payable including taxes for the current year, arrears and interest<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            11. Messages: Section reserved for important messages from the Village of Senneville<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            12. Reference number for payment (file number)
