Town Council<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The municipality is represented and its affairs are administered by its council. The council is composed of a mayor, who represents the entire municipality, as well as six councillors, each responsible for a district. To find out the name of your councillor, please first consult the map or the list of addresses corresponding to your electoral district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor – Julie Brisebois<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A resident of Senneville since 2003, she shares her life with her husband Mark and has watched their three daughters, Am\u00e9lie, \u00c8va, and \u00c9lodie, grow up. Her involvement in municipal affairs began in 2009 as a councillor, and in 2017, she was elected mayor. Passionate about her village, she regularly enjoys the streets and trails of Senneville and its surroundings, with their dog Bruno, cycling in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building on the experience and knowledge she has acquired over the years, she remains committed to the Municipal Council, working to improve services offered to citizens and advance projects that enhance the quality of life, while ensuring sound financial management. She also continues to represent the municipality\u2019s interests within the Montreal metropolitan authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Chartered Professional Accountant by training, she brings extensive expertise in finance and governance. Her career includes positions at KPMG in Quebec and Switzerland, at Capital Group, and at the Caisse de d\u00e9p\u00f4t et placement du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>. During her most recent term as mayor, she served on several key bodies, including as co-chair of the Association of Suburban Municipalities, vice-chair of the Montreal Agglomeration Council, member of the executive committee and board of directors of the Union des municipalit\u00e9s du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>, as well as on various committees at the City of Montreal (audit, finance, and contract review). These experiences enable her to bring recognized expertise in management, analysis, and governance to the Municipal Council in service of the community.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Councillor District 1<\/strong> – Stephen Lee<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Stephen Lee has been a resident of Senneville for 25 years, where he enjoys life as a retired husband, father, and grandfather. Following a 38-year teaching career, he now devotes his time to serving on the Municipal Council, teaching yoga, and supervising McGill students during their teaching field placements. His personal interests include hockey, cycling, golf, and home improvement projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His first mandate provided a valuable introduction to municipal politics and above all, a positive, collaborative experience with Senneville\u2019s strong Municipal Council. Representing the citizens of District 1 and the broader Senneville community was a privilege. Drawing on his extensive experience in education, he brings to the Council a people-focused skill set shaped by years of working with administrators, colleagues, and students. Councillor<\/strong> District 2 – Shannon O\u2019Halloran<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A resident of Senneville for six years, she is a forward-thinking, solutions-oriented professional known for her teamwork and adaptability. She has worked on major industrial construction sites across Canada and abroad, collaborating with tradespeople and skilled professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Having grown up in the area on the Pierrefonds side near Cap-St-Jacques, she has a strong interest in socioeconomic development and modernization. In her spare time, she enjoys dogs, yoga, line dancing, and winter activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resident of Senneville since the fall of 2020, Camille quickly grew attached to the village\u2019s unique character and the quality of life it offers. Passionate about minimalist design, antiques, and photography, she also enjoys long walks that allow her to explore the area, as well as meaningful moments spent with her children. These interests reflect her strong appreciation for aesthetics, heritage, and the human connections that enrich community life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having grown up in Senneville and returned in 2002 to raise her family, she has been an active member of the community for many years. A Council member since 2017, she has chaired various committees, including Recreation, Culture & Community Life. She holds a Bachelor of Education from McGill University and has taught in Montreal, England, and Zimbabwe. Michelle and her husband Mark are the parents of two young adult children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident of Senneville for five years, Nina Hodge is passionate about design, art, and all aspects of creating harmonious and functional spaces. She also enjoys golf and tennis, two activities that help her stay active and connected to her community. Raising her family has always been central to her life, which naturally led her to become more involved in her village. Deeply committed to the quality of life in Senneville\u2014its tranquility, community spirit, and unique character\u2014she draws great inspiration from her surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
