{"id":7939,"date":"2023-10-25T14:45:52","date_gmt":"2023-10-25T18:45:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.senneville.ca\/?post_type=event&#038;p=7939"},"modified":"2023-10-25T15:20:49","modified_gmt":"2023-10-25T19:20:49","slug":"diy-birdfeeder","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.senneville.ca\/en\/events\/diy-birdfeeder\/","title":{"rendered":"DIY BIRDFEEDER"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Materials:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">toilet paper roll, popsicle sticks , tape, string Peanut butter, raisins,&nbsp; sunflower seeds, and oats&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>Instructions:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Take 2 toilet paper rolls and tape them one on to of the other<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start with your toilet paper roll and punch two small holes, one on each side of one end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">thread 8-12\u2033 of string&nbsp;through the holes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Knot the ends of the string ends together to form a ooptop<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Punch two more holes about halfway down the toilet paper roll and again 2-4 inches from the bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thread the popcicle stick through the holes so it passes through to the other side. Place them so that they are even on either side<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spread the peanut butter around the toilet paper roll, covering as much as possible<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sprinkle the seeds, raisins and oats on top, forming a layer over the peanut butter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the peanut butter is covered with seeds etc, bring it outside and hang in your tree<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Try to select a branch that is surrounded by other brands, so that the birds can reach the birdfeeder more
